Team Breakfast!

On Saturday, December 4th, patrons of the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market will be able to enjoy a sit-down breakfast onsite during Market hours. Red Seal chef, Matt Mackenzie of ReadytoEat, will be offering a menu featuring breakfast and brunch items made with a focus on utilizing Market vendor and local ingredients.

Mackenzie has over twenty years’ experience as a professional chef, the most recent being 6 years as the Executive Chef at the Fredericton Crowne Plaza, Lord Beaverbrook Hotel. During his career, Mackenzie has proven his passion for amplifying the quality of local food and hopes his new menu options will provide a vessel for showcasing the products of Market vendors.

“The team and I here at Readytoeat are ecstatic to start our venture with the historic Boyce Farmers Market,” said Mackenzie. “As a team of people who are truly passionate about creating from the bounty that is around us. We could not think of a better place to be.  We will bring you a true Fredericton experience.”

The restaurant will operate during regular hours of the Market, Saturday’s from 7am-1pm. Customers can look forward to classic breakfast options, including benedicts, sandwiches and combo plate with your choice of eggs, toast and breakfast protein.
