This week welcomed one of the year’s most anticipated Fredericton albums EVER – Young Satan in Love’s Stink Bomb Prom.
I think it’s fair to say anyone trying to put this group’s music into words will surely find himself or herself at a loss. There are no words, but there are also lots of words.
YSIL is an experience. Live performances almost always involve audience altercations, religious interventions, and spiritual confrontations. They may also include hotdog eating contests, fistfights with inflatable clowns and have even been known to involve a dancing horse playing a tambourine. Sounds crazy right? Well, YSIL are probably the most off-the-wall live music extravaganza to ever come from our “quiet city on the river”.
