What does live music in Fredericton look like right now?

We have had to accept the postponement of one of our favourite winter music events, but there’s still plenty of music on the horizon.

This week brought the unfortunate news of Shivering Songs’ postponement. But that doesn’t mean live music has come to a complete standstill. At least not yet. While the fate of many upcoming live music performances remains to be seen, venues, performers and audiences alike remain optimistic that the many events on the calendar spanning the coming weeks will go ahead as planned. 

The good news through all of this is that venues still offering performances are doing all they can to keep patrons safe. With reduced seating, mandatory proof of vaccinations required and some in-house services adjusted to limit close contact situations, going out to enjoy live music is as safe as safe can be. Providing everyone continues to respect the rules put in place for our own safety and the safety of others, a little extra patience may be all that’s required in order to feed your music loving soul.
