2018 Juno nominees announce shows in Fredericton, Halifax and Sackville in May.

By the time they make it to the East Coast, Toronto’s Weaves will have already played more than 40 live performances in 2018. Between now and mid-May, the band will be on the road in support of their latest release, Wide Open (Buzz Records). The band are currently on a co-headlining tour of Canada and the U.S. with New York’s Pale Hound, which also includes dates with Ezra Furman and Lonely Parade.
On February 6 Weaves were included among this year’s many Juno Award nominees. The band join Alvvays, Arcade Fire, Land of Talk, and Tanya Tagaq as this year’s nominees for Alternative Album of the Year. This marked the group’s second Juno nomination is as many years.
