“Worlds Apart” – photography by extreme adventure traveller Jason Nugent and “The Travel Show” at Gallery 78 beginning April 29, 2016
It’s all about travel at Gallery 78! Jason Nugent journeys to exotic and remote locations throughout the world and documents his travel with exquisite photography. His images from Corsica, Montenegro, Argentina, and northern Norway are compelling and breathtaking. In his exhibition “Worlds Apart” Jason’s highly nuanced imagery of places most of us will never see in person capture the imagination and allow us to experience through his eyes.
“The Travel Show” features paintings by Moon Joyce, Réjean Roy, David McKay, and Amber (Lounder) Leger, alongside Mary White’s “Walking Pots”. Each of these artists has been inspired by their experiences of travel and has created imagery of the places that have spoken to them.
Both exhibitions begin Friday, April 29 at Gallery 78.
Jason Nugent will give a presentation about his travels and photographic process on Sunday, May 15, 2pm, also at Gallery 78.
