Virtual Exhibitions:

Lowercase Capital: A Virtual Exhibition. The pitch for this project, presented at Connexion ARC’s 2019 Art Kitchen competition, focused on a desire to present Fredericton in a manner that avoided the city’s postcard potential and concentrated instead on quotidian sublime and strange snapshots that might not traditionally appear remarkable. View this exhibition.

Garry Sanipass’ Masks: Virtual Exhibition. Garry Sanipass is a valued contributor to our most recent print issue, Psyche. View the complete series, including excerpts from his article offering hints of meaning amidst deep visuals from within Garry’s mind. View this exhibition.

In Full Bloom at Gallery 78. Paintings by Joanne Hunt and ceramics by Karen Burk. Opening online May 19 and in person May 22.

Momentum at Gallery on Queen. Gallery on Queen’s first virtual exhibition features the work of Moncton artist Jared Betts. Paintings by Jared Betts’ can be found the world over, in private collections from Paris to Los Angeles.  His work often features bright colours, deliberate drips and abstract imagery.  He completed his MFA at NSCAD in Halifax, Nova Scotia and had his first international exhibition (Iceland) the same year. Over the past ten years Betts has participated in dozens of exhibitions across New Brunswick, Canada and around the world. View this exhibition.
