Hip Hop Dance Workshop
An in-depth exploration into the principals of hip hop street dance and Crazy Smooth’s approach to the philosophy: dance to express not to impress. This workshop will include a warm-up, technical training, exploration of movement, choreography, cool down and a short talk with the participants. Canada’s premier street dance company Bboyizm returns to the Playhouse with its explosive new piece, Music Creates Opportunity. In this latest production choreographer Crazy Smooth explores themes of personal expression through authentic street dance. This performance features a wide range of both traditional and newer street dances. Music Creates Opportunity explores the intersection of rhythm, expression and community in the making of music and dance.
