Classic Albums Live performs Creedence Clearwater Revival: Chronicle

24.Chronicle-1024x1004A perennial Playhouse favourite, Classic Albums Live is a group of skilled musicians that recreates the greatest albums of the ’60s and ’70s live on stage – note for note, cut for cut. Don’t look for costumes and look-a-like theatrics at these rock recitals, just pure musicianship and songs that shaped a generation.

Known for their Southern rock style and politically conscious lyrics, Creedence Clearwater Revival is still a rock radio staple. Their influence can be heard in many genres, including grunge, roots rock and the blues. Thanks to hit singles like “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising” and “Fortunate Son,” the band has sold 26 million albums in the United States alone.
