The Capital Complex announce Motherhood, Force Fields, CHIPS, All of Green and many more as part of 20th anniversary celebrations September 13-15.

The Tortoise The Hare & The Millionaire play Thursday September 13 night with CHIPS, Melonvine and BA Johnston.

It’s hard to believe the Capital Complex has been at it for two decades now.

Taking its name from the building’s previous tenants, Capital Men’s and Boy’s Wear, who operated out of the 362 Queen Street location for many years, The Capital grew from a single dimly lit watering hole to become a nationally recognized music venue and the heartbeat of the city’s music scene. Over time the Capital Bar expanded to include both Wilser’s Room and The Phoenix.

To help celebrate 20 years of live music, the venue have put together three nights of live entertainment that including many acts who got their start on the Capital stage.

This special anniversary series will run September 13-15 during the 2018 edition of the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival.
