SNB presents Ventus Machina in Virtuoso Concert Series March 26
As a part of Symphony New Brunswick’s Virtuoso concert series, Ventus Machina will be playing at St. Thomas University on March 26 at 7:30pm, in the McCain Hall recital space, room 101.
The Ventus Machina woodwind quintet, which was formed in 2011 as a joint project between Symphony New Brunswick and l’Université de Moncton, has enjoyed warm welcomes from audiences all over the province. Through their education outreach performances and workshops, the quintet reaches over 10,000 students each year and has expanded to include a summer program, the Wind Masters’ Workshop, which was launched in July of 2013.
The quintet is made up of Karin Aurell (flute), Christie Goodwin (oboe), Jean-Guy Boisvert (clarinet), Ulises Aragon (horn), and Patrick Bolduc (bassoon).
