The Beaverbrook Art Gallery has launched a call for submissions for Creative Summer Residencies in the Bruno Bobak Artist-in-Residence Studio. Month-long residencies will be scheduled from mid-June to mid-September.

As part of the expansion of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the Bruno Bobak Artist-in-Residence Studio (BBAIRS) will host resident artists and arts professionals, providing them with space to undertake their own work. In this environment they will be encouraged to draw inspiration from the permanent collection and engage with the public in a multitude of ways. This program demonstrates that not only is art housed in the Gallery, it can also be conceived and created here by professional artists, children, students and lifelong learners. The Artist-in-Residence is supported by the Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation.
