Fredericton Festival announces Mo Kenney, Marine Dreams and many more.
(Fredericton) Shivering Songs is extremely pleased to add Mo Kenney, Marine Dreams, Mathias Kom and a slew of local artists to its 2016 Festival. Now celebrating its sixth year, Shivering Songs runs January 21–24 in Fredericton, NB.
Equal parts seasoned and fresh, Halifax songstress and Shivering Songs favorite Mo Kenney writes well beyond her years. The muse of Attack In Black’s Ian Kehoe, Marine Dreams is ripe with melody and rich in sentiment. Mathias Kom is the singer songwriter force behind The Burning Hell, and will join Sheree Fitch in Shivering Songs’ Songwriters & Storytellers Matinee.
Additionally, Shivering Songs announced a slew of beloved Frederictonians to the line-up. The Hypochondriacs will revive its Grand Ole Wilser’s night, featuring cameos from a number of Festival performers moonlighting as players from the Grand Ole Opery. Tim Walker will perform at Frostival’s By The Fire series in Officer’s Square. Cedric Noel has also been added to the Festival’s Songwriters & Storytellers Event.
“We’re very excited at this mix of performers, from the tremendous touring talent of Mo Kenney, Marine Dreams and Mathias Kom, through to the heart of our local scene in The Hypochondriacs, Tim Walker and Cedric Noel,” said Festival organizer Zach Atkinson.
