Award-winning St. John’s-based folk duo Rube & Rake will be playing shows in Fredericton and Perth-Andover later this week.
Rube & Rake’s 16-date fall tour will near its conclusion this week as Sandu and Andrew Laite make their way to New Brunswick from Halifax for performances October 14 in Fredericton (Grimross Brewing Co.) and October 15 in Perth-Andover (The Oak Tree).
The pair’s latest full-length album, Leaving with Nothing, picked up six 2020 MusicNL nominations, winning Roots Artist of the Year.
Last week, the group surprised audiences with a three song EP recorded live-off-the-floor. The Bannerman Tapes Vol. 1 includes three songs taken from their most recent album.
Carlin Fraser will open the show in Fredericton.
