Jessica Rhaye and the Ramshackle Parade will be playing dates in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec and Ontario in October in support of the new album, Sunshine Baby.
Saint John’s Jessica Rhaye and her band The Ramshackle Parade are hitting the road in October bringing their new album Sunshine Baby to audiences across Eastern and Central Canada.
Sunshine Baby follows the group’s hugely successful album, Just Like A Woman: Songs of Bob Dylan. The band’s video for Blowin’ in the Wind has amassed an impressive 13 million views (and counting) on Youtube.
“Rhaye has embraced that hybrid acoustic-electric sound…the rich instrumentation has potent and explosive moments throughout.”
– Top 100 Canadian (Sunshine Baby LP)
Earlier this month, Rhaye released the seventh video from her new album, and was announced as a showcase performer at the upcoming Folk Alliance International Conference taking place in Kansas City this coming February. She also received a well-deserved Music NB Award nomination for the new album’s lead single and title track, one of several videos produced by Rhaye and filmmaker Jordan Mattie.
