On Display:

This January, elevate your mind and spirit from the cold and enjoy artistic expressions of beauty and life at Gallery 78. Until February 10, take delight in embroidered tapestries by Anna Torma, an original watercolour and graphite by Molly Lamb Bobak for the beloved illustrated book, Merlin the Billy Dog, ethereal depictions of bird’s nests by Ann Manuel, magical representations of snow and northern lights over northern mountains of Labrador by printmaker Christine Koch, and new landscapes by Glenn Hall.

Downtown Art Walk:

As part of FROSTival’s Downtown Art Walk on Friday, February 1st from 5 – 8 p.m., join Gallery 78 for an art-filled evening. From 5 – 7 p.m., all ages can try their hand at throwing clay on a pottery wheel with burgeoning ceramist Matt Cripps. For the adults from 6 – 8 p.m., let your creativity flow and enjoy a relaxing two hour painting session with an experienced artist who will demonstrate and help guide you through a painting from start to finish. This event is free and no experience necessary! Paint, canvas, brushes, and easels will be provided. Registration is limited; please email art@gallery78.com to reserve your spot.
