odd sundays at Molly’s Coffee House

Category: arts 77

odd sundaysodd sundays is Fredericton’s longest-running, semi-monthly, haphazardly-hyphenated, reading series. Our featured readers this coming Sunday, March 29 at 2pm are Gabe Foreman and Leigh Kotsilidis, two poets from Montreal. Come for the poetry, buy yourself a drink and/or lunch, and share your own work in the open set, if you are so inclined. Also, a few lucky people will each win a book in the draw. Molly’s Coffee House is located at 554 Queen Street.

Gabe Foreman grew up in northwestern Ontario. His first book, A Complete Encyclopedia of Different Types of People (Coach House Books) received the A.M. Klein Prize for poetry in 2011. He lives in Montreal.

Leigh Kotsilidis is a poet and visual artist based in Montreal. She is the co-founder of Littlefishcart Press, Fish Quill Poetry Boat, and Scientists for Love. Her first full-length poetry collection, Hypotheticals, was published in 2011 by Coach House Books. Her most recent art exhibition, Lady Into Fox, was on display at the Redpath Museum, Montreal. She currently works as Managing Editor for Vallum magazine.
