World-renowned Canadian soprano plans special holiday performance.
Measha Brueggergosman is heading home for the holidays this year to deliver a special Christmas performance at The Fredericton Playhouse.
Recognised around the world for her voice, musicianship, stage presence and vibrant personality, Brueggergosman has been heralded as “a fresh and youthful ambassador for classical music that breaks the stereotype of an opera diva in every way imaginable”.
The most recent years have been some of her most successful to date, highlighted by appears with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, collaborations with Leif Ove Andsnes and the Risør Chamber Music Festival with performances in New York, London, Brussels, and Oslo, an international tour with Ensemble Intercontemporain and conductor Peter Eötvös offering Berio’s Recital I for Cathy and Eötvös’ Snatches of a Conversation, and a solo recital tour with appearances in New York, San Francisco, Toronto, and Vienna.
On paper and in real-life, Brueggergosman is as impressive as they come.
Tickets for this special holiday performance go on sale September 25th at 10 a.m. and will be available at The Fredericton Playhouse box office.
