Ogden, who has led some of Saint John’s most original musical acts, will share music new and old later this month as part of the Live @ The BMO Series.
Jason Ogden is one of Saint John’s most prolific songwriters and musicians and the writing force behind Penny Blacks, one of the city’s most critically decorated bands. Their sophomore full-length effort, Long Lights, was named the Maritime Edit’s favorite album of 2017, and the title track won Best Song at the 2018 Saint John Music Poll. Recently nominated for SOCAN Song Of The Year and two album awards at the 2018 Prix MNB Awards for his work with Penny Blacks, 2019 finds Ogden at his most prolific.
This exclusive performance at the BMO Theatre promises to be a special evening of music combining songs from Ogden’s back catalogue, new song debuts, and featuring many special guest musicians.
