Put an old camera to good use, changing a life!
The Charlotte Street Arts Centre, in partnership with the Multi-Cultural Association of Fredericton, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, and the City of Fredericton, are seeking donations of digital cameras to use in upcoming programming with Syrian newcomer youth.
Through CSAC’s ArtReach program, professional artists will work with the Syrian youth over the month of March to create photographic works of art exploring cultural heritage in the city. Donations of memory cards, USB cables, and camera batteries are also gratefully accepted with cameras. Cameras should be in working condition, but all types and formats accepted.
Donations will be accepted from Monday, February 22nd, until Friday, February 26th, in the CSAC office (732 Charlotte Street, Room 200, Fredericton, NB). Office hours are 9:00 – 4:00, but to make other arrangements, contact Kaylee Stevens, ArtReach & Program Developer, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling (506) 454-6952.
Tax receipts may be available with proof of purchase. Please consider donating to this life changing program, and join in giving a warm welcome to Syrian newcomers to our city!
Donation times: Feb. 22 – 26th, 9 – 4pm
