Fundrive 2017

CHSR FM’s annual fundraiser is now in full swing. Give a little, get a lot.

Fredericton’s community/campus radio station is holding its annual Fundrive this week. CHSR FM has long been the city’s alternative voice for music and community news with programming that includes everything from daily talk shows to live in-the-studio recording sessions.

As a non-profit organization, the station relies on listener support to help make everything they do possible. Donations received during Fundrive 2017 will help facilitate everything from equipment upkeep and upgrades to new programming and future community events.

Once again this year the station has launched an Indiegogo Campaign where listeners and supporters gain access to several donation-based perks including CHSR t-shirts and hoodies and one-of-a-kind t-shirts designed by Station Manager Erin Bond. You could even have your name immortalized on the station walls. This year’s activities also include an online art auction via the station’s Facebook page.

Fundrive 2017 wraps up November 18 with a live radio-a-thon, a 12 hour live session featuring many of the station’s popular program hosts paired up to chat, share their favourite music and take donations live on the air.

CHSR is a vital part of our community. Whether you tune in weekdays at noon to hear interviews with local artists, doers and community builders on The Lunchbox or prefer to hear Bondo spinning local music on her afternoon show Homemade Jams, now is the time to share a little love and give back to the station that gives us so much.
