Connie May + Poets & liars + Joshua Osborne at Grimross Brewing Co. | Friday January 6

Nova Scotia born musician Connie May brings her five-piece band to Fredericton for a show at Grimross Brewing Co. this Friday. Currently based in Boston where she attends the Berklee College of Music, May’s musical theatre background informs her set of pop and rhythm and blues with vibrant energy, powerful vocals, and a show-stopping performance. Kendra Gale’s latest project Poets & Liars joins with St. Andrews musician Joshua Osborne to kick the night off. 8 p.m. View Event

Heatseeker + Fogger + The Silver Tongued Devils at The Cap | Friday January 6

Heatseeker released their debut album back in June and have only played a handful of shows since, leaving raging rock fans demanding “more!” Together with Fogger and The Silver Tongued Devils, Friday night at The Cap should be a ripper to remember. 8:30 p.m. View Event

Dad Patrol + Too Bad Jim + Travis Flynn at The Cap | Saturday January 7

Here’s a big lineup: Dad Patrol, Too Bad Jim and Travis Flynn. Dad Patrol are currently one of the city’s most creative rock outfits blending strong pop and indie rock influences with a slight emo edge. Prolific songwriting that never repeats itself. Two-piece super-group Too Bad Jim play foot stomping blues rock. Dirty and gritty. And Travis Flynn, well, his 2022 album Ray of Sunshine was easily the sleeper album of the year. Daisy Coburn hosts the Sunday Music Showcases at York County Cider on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Wrap up the week with a relaxing listen. 1 – 4 pm.
