Perform at The Capital Complex July 3, 2015.
Directed by Prism Prize winner Jared Raab, the scenic video was shot in Iceland within a thirty kilometre range of Reykjavik. Raab and his Icelandic colleague Guðni Páll Sæmundsson scouted and shot all the spectacular footage of mountains and lava fields and geothermal springs over three days in the region. They took the footage back to Canada and carefully married miniature scenes of moss and bark and branches (created by artist Nadia Tan) to the epic landscapes they had filmed. The result is a magical transformation from a young boy’s imaginary world to the panoramic real-life scenery of Iceland.
Find The Others was also recently unveiled as one of the 12 finalists in the PEAK Performance Project – an initiative designed to educate, promote, and develop the careers of emerging artists in British Columbia and Alberta.
