The UNB Dept. of Culture and Language Studies, UNB Film Studies, and the NB Filmmakers Cooperative invite you to an evening of films by filmmaker Vladimir Paskaljevic on Thursday, March 17th at 7pm in Carleton Hall, Room 140, UNB Campus.

Originally from Serbia, Paskaljevic is currently a film Instructor at UNBF and member of the NBFC. Paskaljevic is credited as writer or cowriter for three films and three short films, five of which he directed.

Paskaljevic will screen and comment on two of his short films; Dolphins are Mammals was awarded International Federation of Film Critics award at in 21st Montreal World Film Festival in 1997 and Absence (2015) that won TFCA award for the best Canadian Student Film. He will also show and discuss the trailers for the two feature-length films he wrote: The Optimists (shown at TIFF in 2005) and Devil’s Town (2009).

This event is free and open to the public.
