Auditions for Branch Out Productions’ winter production will take place November 20-21 in Fredericton.
Branch Out Productions is excited to announce auditions for Love, Loss and What I Wore by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman, directed by Stacie Cougle. A funny, warm, heartfelt play of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memory covering all the important subjects mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black. Proving that a great show is always in fashion, Love, Loss, and What I Wore has become an international hit. With its compulsively entertaining subject matter, this intimate collection of stories by Nora and Delia Ephron is sure to leave you laughing, crying and laughing again!
Auditions will run November 20 and 21, 2020 and are by appointment only. There will material to prepare beforehand. Please email ben@branchoutproductions.ca to reserve your spot. Auditions are open to female- identifying people aged 16+.
The show will run as part of Fredericton’s Frostival from February 4-6, 2021. Rehearsals will run on Wednesday evenings and Saturday from 10:30am-12:30pm, though not everyone will be required at each rehearsal. This small, flexible cast will feature 5-11 actresses portraying over 2 dozen parts.
