Monologues – Performance & Audition. A two day intensive in solo performance. Feb 11-12.

Suzuki Method & Viewpoints (June 2015)-8

Join Theatre New Brunswick’s Artistic Director Thomas Morgan Jones for this two day intensive workshop in solo performance. Text work and physical work will be used to empower the actor to perform monologues in either a performance or audition setting.

“This workshop is a wonderful place for Fredericton and New Brunswick actors of all experience levels to ask questions about performing monologues,” said Jones.  “It’s a laboratory where we all, as artists, can ask fundamental questions about our craft and learn practical skills for rehearsals and auditions.”

This workshop was included in Theatre New Brunswick’s current season following a highly successful workshop last year.

Since relocating to the province in 2014, Jones has made professional artist training opportunities a priority at Theatre New Brunswick as an instructor and also as a host to some of the country’s leading theatre artists.

“I’ve had the very good fortune of being able to collaborate with schools and theatres all over the country and internationally as an instructor, and this workshop is an opportunity for me to share wisdom acquired from all of the artists I have had the privilege of working with,” he said. “I so look forward to the conversations in the room.”

All experience levels welcome.
