A fundraiser in support of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre.
In celebration of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre’s 10-Year Anniversary, 35 artists from Fredericton and beyond have turned Charlotte Street School artifacts into works of art!
Hand-hammered nails, architectural beams, and original window panes date back to 1884-1885 when the Charlotte Street School was first constructed. 130 years later, artifacts are (re)made into part of our new legacy, opening the doors of creative expression to all.
Featuring the work of Janice Wright Cheney, Brigitte Clavette, Kristen Bishop, Jane Geurts, Bruce Gray and more, the Artifact (re)Make Exhibition & Auction raises funds to ensure the long-term vitality of Fredericton’s only community arts centre.
The exhibition is now open for silent bidding in the Charlotte Glencross Gallery.
Come out and support the event on Friday, April 10th, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm for the Finissage, final silent bidding & live auction of select pieces.
$20 tickets are available at the CSAC office (732 Charlotte Street, Room 200), or at Read’s Newsstand (ticket includes admission, bidding card, & complimentary drink).
