Established in 2005, Cirque Alfonse is a circus company hailing from Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez, Que. Its founding members have worked with some of the most renowned “nouveau cirque” companies around the world.

This young company includes members who have attended the Ecole nationale de cirque de Montreal, as well as a professional dancer, a former skiing champion and three versatile musicians. This brave group of performers is blazing a creative new path, blending techniques of the circus with aspects of their Quebec heritage.

Inspired by the exploits of the first North American lumberjacks, loggers and farmers, Timber! is a unique show that inspires awe and excitement in all who have the chance to see it first-hand.

Using forestry resources available on their real-life family farm, the members of Cirque Alfonse keep audiences on the edge of their seats with incredible acts of aerial acrobatics backed onstage by a live traditional folk soundtrack. These skilled acrobats and musicians set a colourful, energetic scene on stage, creating a hyper-festive atmosphere.
