Motherhood have their work cut out for them this week, playing The Capital with Viet Cong and Greys, shows in Montreal on Thursday and Friday and then home to perform with Rah Rah and Yukon Blonde at Harvest on Saturday night. Add in a few nights of rehearsal and that’s a damn busy week.

“Motherhood is having basically the biggest week of our careers this week,” said bassist Penelope Stevens, “including our first real Harvest performance. It’s exciting”.

We caught up with Motherhood’s Brydon Crain, Penelope Stevens and Adam Sipkema in their rehearsal space to get their take on the week ahead and what the fall has in store for the band.
