Call for Project Proposals: Core Programming

Category: arts 267

Third Space Gallery invites artists to submit proposals for their 2018 programming season.

third spaceThird Space continues to operate as an itinerant artist-run centre in Saint John, New Brunswick; encouraging artists to submit proposals for projects that need not exist within a traditional gallery space. The selections committee, comprised of Third Space members will give priority to project proposals that are off-site, site-specific, or site-less. Third Space is open to proposals for short term, long term, as well as curated projects.

Third Space is seeking proposals that reflect their objectives as an alternative, non-commercial contemporary art space. We aim to present work that is exploratory, challenging and critical in nature. We encourage emerging and established artists to propose projects that have not yet been realized as well as investigations that have been started or completed elsewhere. Third Space will work with selected artists to secure a location for their work and provide a venue for open dialogue to take place.

Third Space Gallery is committed to paying artist fees in accordance with the CARFAC fee schedule. In addition to artist fees, selected projects will receive financial support for travel, accommodation, materials and promotions. We are also happy to offer assistance with finding childcare when needed.
