Dead Serious Improv at The Cap | April 20 | 7 p.m. | View Event

Get weird with Fredericton’s improv ambassadors Dead Serious as they return to The Cap stage for the latest performance in their monthly residency. Watch as this diverse group of performers pull cues from the audience to build and perform a work of comedy like you have never seen before. Dead Serious is made up of established and emerging writers, actors, and improv artists who often invite guests into the fold. This month’s special guest performer is FeelGood’s Courtney Steeves.  Par-tay! 

Chillteens headline a four-band lineup at The Cap | April 20 | View Event

Chillteens are back with their first performance of the 2023 calendar year. Over the past year the band has been hard at work writing and recording music for its forthcoming album. Enjoy a mix of songs new and old as they share the stage with Nate Murchison & The Busy Boys + Los Amigos.

Ray Legere and Alan Jeffries at the Tipsy Muse Café | April 21 | 7 p.m. | View Event

An evening of pickin’ and grinnin’ with two of the East Coast’s most respected pickers and grinners, Ray Legere and Alan Jeffries. Legere, a world-renowned fiddle and mandolin player, will team up with award winning guitarist Alan Jeffries, a member of David Myles’ band, for what will surely be a night of mindblowing bluegrass prowess. 

Treadwell Pop Up & Major Rager with Liam from Cancer Bats | The Cap | April 21 | View Event

Cancer Bats frontman Liam Cormier brings his Treadwell clothing line to the city for an afternoon pop-up sale which will also include a number of local vendors. Fredericton photographer and reformed hardcore vocalist Mike Erb will also be on hand with his latest limited edition Dixie Lee/Deluxe t-shirts. In the evening, Cormier will deliver a DJ set ripe with the best in punk, hardcore, and metal and more.    

TNB Theatre School Senior Productions | Fredericton Playhouse | April 18-19 and April 21-22 | 7:30 p.m.| View Event

A long running Fredericton tradition, the TNB Theatre School’s senior student musical will take place at the Playhouse Friday and Saturday with a production of Rose – A New Musical, which made its debut at Soulpepper Theatre in Toronto in 2019. And don’t miss the senior acting class production of The Little Prince, on stage earlier in the week. Come out and celebrate our city’s next generation performers.
