TNB Partners with Fredericton Pride for Summer Performance

Category: stage 113

Theatre New Brunswick partners with Fredericton Pride to present Paul David Power’s one-person play, The View From Down Here.

Award winning Newfoundland playwright and performer Paul David Power will perform his critically acclaimed one-man short play, The View From Down Here, at the Open Space Theatre on August 18 as part of Fredericton’s 2022 Pride Festival.

The View from Down Here was the catalyst for Power’s heralded 2019 Ted Talk of the same name. In the play, Paul shares his emotional and sometimes comical experiences navigating everyday life, dating, gay bars, hook ups and self-confidence as a gay man living with a physical disability. Part stand-up, part poignant story telling, The View From Down Here is a performance you are not soon to forget.

This performance will include ASL interpretation and masks will be mandatory for this performance.
