The Alan Jackson Experience at the Fredericton Playhouse. Aaron Halliday is a Canadian country music singer/songwriter who now lives in Glidden SK and originally from Annapolis Royal NS. Aaron has more than 20 years of playing behind him, with a wide open road ahead. 6:30 p.m.

Queen: It’s A Kinda Magic at the Fredericton Playhouse. Direct from Australia, Queen: It’s a Kinda Magic is back by popular demand with their first Canadian national tour in two years! The show is set to again immerse fans in the spectacle, grandeur and extravagance of Queen and Freddie Mercury! 8 p.m.

Stephen Hero EP release at The Cap. Saint John rapper/producer Stephen Hero releases his latest EP, Gold Collection with a show at The Cap. 8:30 p.m.

The Elm City String Quartet at Wilmot United Church. The Elm City String Quartet is back with a pairing of some of the two greatest quartet pieces by French composers. Both Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel used their unique approach to music to burst open the sonic pallet of the string quartet. The result is haunting melodies that soar over flourishes of colour, squeezing through chromaticism and expanding into open harmonies. 7 p.m.

Gin & Jazz at Southside Shake. Garry Hansen Trio featuring Kelly Waterhouse on vocals. 7 p.m.

NBCCD & Gallery 78 presents Sterling Metal Arts Exhibition at Government House. NBCCD announces the 15th annual jewellery/metal arts exhibition, Sterling, generously sponsored by Gallery 78 and hosted at Government House. This year’s exhibition opens to the public at the official residence of New Brunswick’s Lieutenant Governor and will run Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
