Nick Schofield Heading East with Water Sine

Category: music 329

Montreal musician Nick Schofield brings his Backward Music debut to the east coast with dates in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Nick Schofield made his solo debut in 2018. Water Sine (Backward Music) is a pensive, relaxing meditation set in an imaginary environment where the sounds of nature are underscored by twelve minimalist compositions. If synthesizers had dreams, this album would be their soundtrack.

Informed by a lengthy background in contemporary composition and sound manipulation (Schofield holds a BFA in Electroacoustic Studies and performs and records with Best Fern, Saxsyndrum and Rêves Sonores), and five years as Montreal’s #1 Radio Host (Cult Montreal), Schofield is a prominent voice on the Montreal music scene.

Schofield will bring has latest album to the east coast at the end of May performing two shows in New Brunswick libraries in the lead up to the 2019 OBEY Convention in Halifax. Full details below.
