Saint John’s Kylie Fox has just released a new song. Cradle Me is the second single off her forthcoming album Green arriving later this year.

Cradle Me is Fox’s ode to Western Canada, written while touring through that part of the country last winter. Largely a collection of observations made and people met, the song finds Fox exploring the what-ifs of human interaction backed by some of her strongest writing and arrangements to date.

Cradle Me was recorded with ECMA award winning producer Dale Murray, who Fox teamed up with to produce her forthcoming debut album.

“Working with Dale was amazing,” said Fox. “It was collaborative and safe. I felt empowered with my own ideas, comfortable to be honest and vulnerable, and excited by the quality of his engineering and layers he has added to my songs. He also lives in a little farmhouse in nowheresville Nova Scotia so the isolation made for a very encapsulating, encompassing working experience.”

Green is set to arrive in September 2020.
