Shivering Songs have rolled out a second round of artists slated to perform as part of the Festival’s tenth anniversary event, January 29 – February 2 in Fredericton. Bolstering an already impressive and very New Brunswick lineup, organizers have added Julie Aubé, Mike Trask, Cedric Noel, Brent Mason, Greg Harrison (FUZE Orchestra), LAPS, Cedric Vieno, Spoutnique, Pallmer, and Matt Brennan (Citizen Bravo) to the list of 2020 performers.

“It’s no mistake that this announcement celebrates so many unique New Brunswick artists,” said Festival co-organizer, Zach Atkinson. “We’re thrilled to use this milestone in our own story as an opportunity to recognize the tremendous impact of these artists on our province and beyond.”

Earlier this fall, Shivering Songs announced a special reunion performance by one-time New Brunswick indie-folk-rockers, The Belle Comedians. Between 2010 and 2014, The Belle Comedians toured regularly, developing a strong and loyal fanbase throughout the Maritimes despite having only released a handful of tracks. In the fall of 2014, after much speculation, the band announced their breakup.

The 2020 reunion performance quickly sold out and now, The Belle Comedians will join The Hypochondriacs and Les Hay Babies for a performance on February 1 at the Boyce Farmer’s Market.

Matt Anderson’s performance at Wilmot United Church is also sold out.
