It’s been too long since Fredericton’s Keith Hallett has played a show. Six months to be exact.

Back in March when the province came to a grinding halt, Hallett was gearing up for a Maritime tour. And like so many other musicians, he lost all his planned performances. On May 15, Hallett performed as part of Music NB’s NB at Home series, delivering a full set of music from the comfort of his basement. But aside from that, he’s been sitting idle. Waiting.

But 2020 hasn’t been all “hurry up and wait”. In April, Hallett released a pair of tracks through the Halifax label, Big Turnip Records. Both tracks are available for purchase through the Big Turnip Records’ Bandcamp page.  Funds raised through digital sales will go towards pressing a proper 7” single in the year to come.

This week Hallett returns to The Cap for a Wednesday evening performance. It’s an early show and tickets are limited. Details below.
