MNB Song of the Year award winner Freya Milliken will perform at Hanson Road Flower Company on Saturday November 18 as part of Fredericton’s upcoming Americana Weekend.
Fresh off her recent MNB Award win, Dorchester, New Brunswick’s Freya Milliken will celebrate the release of her debut EP, Wholeheartedly with a tour through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
“This project is three years in the making and it is a relief to be finally coming to this stage,” said Milliken. “I’ve been playing the songs on the EP live for quite some time now, so it feels exciting that my listeners will get to hear how they sound fully produced in a recorded setting, thanks to my music producer and dear friend Reuben Gilbert. This is my first official release tour and I’m looking forward to connecting with more folks around the maritimes with these songs.”
Currently based in Wolfville, Nova Scotia where she recently graduated from Acadia University’s School of Music, Milliken will begin a five date in Fredericton with shows to follow in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Wholeheartedly will be released November 24.
