(Fredericton) The Board of Directors of the Fredericton Community Foundation welcomes Calvin Milbury as the new Executive Director, effective April 12, 2021. After a competitive hiring process, Calvin rose to the top and is eager to start helping to grow the endowment and advancing the Foundation’s work.

Calvin brings a wealth of experience as an executive, investor and advisor and has helped launch and build over 75 startup companies. He’ll bring an abundance of governance, strategy, finance, human resources, and operations skills. Calvin most recently served in executive leadership with the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF) for 15 years, including 9 years as its President and CEO. Under his leadership, the NBIF expanded its funds under management from $40M to $180M by securing new funds from various sources.

Milbury is keen to collaborate with the community to make a positive impact in Fredericton. In his spare time, you can find Calvin running, water skiing, and fly fishing for Atlantic salmon. Above all, he loves spending time with his family.

The Foundation is well-positioned to continue to serve our community, and look forward to the energy and experience Calvin will bring to the organization.
