Toronto songwriter Dante Matas teams up with The Trick for a series of NB shows in May.

Following the April release of his single, Everything Nearly Fell Apart Completely, Toronto songwriter Dante Matas has shared his latest full-length, A Colourful Headache.  Released on May 4, the album follows a number of singles, EPs and albums dating back to 2013.

Matas and his band will be touring the East Coast this month with Mike Legere (TO) playing dates in Fredericton, St. Andrews, Saint John, Charlottetwon and Halifax. The Trick will support Matas for all three New Brunswick performances.

Over the past five years of releases, Matas has created a number of varying songs ranging from delicately layered dream pop to more up-tempo, radio friendly ear worms, each demonstrating his admirable skills as a writer, arranger and musician.

His latest album, A Colourful Headache, is a both a throwback and a major step forward, bearing a close resemblance to his 2013 debut Pixelated Nonsense but with an added maturity that can only come from experience writing and performing.
