Fredericton Theatre Troupe makes music video teaching the rules, regulations, and recommendations around COVID-19 prevention.
In case you need a reminder on how to limit the spread of COVID-19, Fredericton’s friendly neighbourhood theatre troupe, The Calithumpians, have put together a handy-dandy ditty to spark your memory.
The group was inspired to create These Are the Rules for COVID-19 after hearing New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jennifer Russell pleading with people to download the COVID alert app. According to a media release from the group, in a January press briefing Russell was quoted saying, “I wish this would go viral … somebody do a Tik Tok on this.”
“The Calithumpians are community-minded,” said Will Pacey, the company’s artistic director. “We care a lot about Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and the World. Our audience is the family. Everyone from kids to seniors enjoy our shows so we wanted to give back to our community and our province, and educate people on how to stop the spread of COVID-19, in a fun and entertaining way.”
Here’s hoping their next video explains the Steady 10.
