In advance of their upcoming East Coast dates, Weaves have teamed up with the Polaris Music Prize as part of a new cover sessions series.
Last week, Weaves and the Polaris Music Prize organizers shared the first track from a forthcoming series of cover sessions featuring past Polaris nominees interpreting the songs from albums that have received Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize designation. Two more Polaris Cover Sessions will be revealed in the coming months, and all three will be pressed on a limited edition 10″ vinyl record that will be free to purchasers of 2018 Polaris nominated albums at participating retail stores starting in July.
Weaves have been on the road since mid-April and will wrap up this first leg of 2018 touring this week with shows in Halifax, Fredericton and Sackville.
