Gallery 78 announces three new exhibits that explore the theme of water through photography, painting, poetry and more.

Reflecting Vincent by James Wilson.

Water, water everywhere! Watershed by James Wilson explores with quiet, astute reflection, the tributaries, floodplains, marshes and tidal effect of the vast all-encompassing St. John River watershed through his camera lens and discerning eye.

The Art of Water is a further journey into the facets of water from brilliant reflections, to surreal interpretations of moments captured in oil, acrylic and watercolour. This exhibition features the work of several artists familiar to regular visitors of the gallery including Monika Wright, David MacKay, Glenn Hall, Peter Salmon and many others.

A third exhibition from Newfoundland is a thoughtful and serene grouping of traditional Japanese woodblocks, paintings, and poetry in Island Waters by Charlotte Jones, Tessa May, and Pamela Gill.

The exhibitions open on Friday, September 28 and continue until October 28 at Gallery 78, corner of Church and Queen.
