Fredericton Playhouse unveils exciting new TD StudentRush program.
Fredericton, NB – The Fredericton Playhouse and TD Bank have announced a new partnership to make attending live performing arts events more accessible to students. A $10,000 contribution from TD will fund the TD StudentRush initiative, providing the opportunity for students to purchase deeply discounted $12 tickets to dozens of performances at Fredericton’s premier performance venue.
“TD believes that an investment in the arts can pay back significant returns to our community. And it’s for this reason we believe that corporations and businesses in Canada must creatively rise to the needs of both the large and small arts organizations and do everything they can to encourage young audiences, as well as to giving support to our local community theatres and allowing them the opportunity to flourish,” says Matt Sheridan, District Vice President, New Brunswick, TD Canada Trust.
TD StudentRush tickets are available two hours before show time, and apply to all Fredericton Playhouse Spotlight Series performances, as well as other participating performances. Students need only present a valid student ID in person at the Playhouse box office. Subject to availability, there will be no limit on either the number of tickets issued or seating location.
