The Cap announces Andre Pettipas in-store performance

Pictou County’s Andre Pettipas will give a solo performance at The Cap Record Store on Sunday March 5 from 2-4 p.m.

 

Frontman for the group which bears his name, Andre Pettipas and the Giants, Pettipas will give a rare solo performance at The Cap on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. Based out of Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Pettipas and his band are known for their take-no-prisoners approach to live performance with boundless energy and on stage charisma. 

Sunday’s performance comes in advance of the band’s third studio album Under Control, recorded at The Tragically Hip’s studio, The Bathouse and Shoebox Studios in New Glasgow and set for a spring release. 

The upcoming 13 track album highlights the trials and tribulations of navigating through life with a big focus on the global pandemic. The album builds on the success of their sophomore album, No Fools No Fun that was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at East Coast Music Awards and Nova Scotia Music Week.
