Take in an Outdoor Play with Satellite Théâtre

Category: stage 405

Satellite Théâtre will present “Pépins, un parcours de petites détresses” at the Verger Belliveau Orchard in Memramcook, Oct. 1, 8 and 15.

Satellite Théâtre will present Pépins, un parcours de petites détresses at the Verger Belliveau Orchard in Memramcook on October 1, 8 and 15, at 7 p.m., in collaboration with Galerie Sans Nom and CAFi. The actor-creators, Katrine Noël, Florence Brunet, Bianca Richard, Caroline Bélisle and Wijdane Akachkach will give you access to the intimate spaces of women crossed by the same desire to reconnect with something that is beyond them. This highly visual theatrical experience, in which the artist Anne-Marie Sirois brings to life an often surreal everyday life, will take place among the apple trees and on the terrace of the orchard.

Both a celebration of nature and a sharing of the inevitable grief caused by isolation, Pépins is a walking show that takes the audience into the heart of the small, ordinary distresses of a pandemic, somewhere between the Galas and the Honey Crisps. At the end of the stroll, a sweet surprise will await. The public will be able to socialize with its ” friends and family bubble” on Verger Belliveau Orchard’s terrace for a few drinks following the performance. The bar Le Barbu will be open for the occasion.

In case of rain, alternative dates are scheduled.

Pépins, un parcours de petites détresses is a collaboration between Satellite Théâtre, Galerie Sans Nom, Verger Belliveau Orchard, CAFi, Société culturelle de la Vallée de Memramcook and the Village of Memramcook. This project is funded by the Canada Council for the Arts and the New Brunswick Arts Board (artsnb).
