Find the Others are one of the latest additions to Forward Music Group’s already impressive roster. Their latest release Empire of Time was produced by Valgeir Sigurðsson – an Icelandic producer who was worked with groups such as Sigur Rós, Björk, Feist, and Tim Hecker. This evening of soft and beautiful music also include Cedric Noel and Trophy Wife. Now THAT’S a show worth seeing.

Next Exit is a four piece, East Coast cover band from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. The band consists of: Dave Wright (vocals & guitar) Jason Conway (vocals & bass) Matt Kenny (vocals, lead guitar, mandolin) and Brandon Macdonald (drums). Their music repertoire crosses various genres from: rock, country, pop, Maritime and more…with the guys all coming from different musical backgrounds, and all being highly proficient in multi–style’s of music, they blend it all together, and it makes for a very diverse, high energy, crowd pleasing, good time.

River Jam is an annual celebration of music along the St. John River at the Delta Fredericton Hotel. There will be 20 bands on four stages . All of the bands play without receiving financial compensation to enable proceeds of the event to go toward musically-focused community groups/ projects. River Jam is also host to the presentation of the Diane London Award, which is presented each year to a female musician or artist, or works in the arts field who has contributed to the community.

Hometown hero of the six string persuasion, Alan Jeffries brings his trio to town for a free concert in Officer’s Square. You may remember him from such meals as the Shivering Songs Bluegrass Brunch (and others?). Alan always puts on a great show! Pray for sunshine though as this concert has no rain date.
