Gallery 78’s summer exhibition pairs local ‘Treasures’ with new work by Martin, Plaskett and Miller.

Red and White Nocitiana by Marjory Donaldson.

Back in March of this year, Fredericton’s Gallery 78 were preparing to welcome the change of season with a retrospective exhibition of work by Marjory Donaldon and an impressive collection of work by both Molly Lamb Bobak and Bruno Bobak. Unfortunately, both exhibitions arrived at the same time COVID-19 brought the entire country to a halt. Thankfully, the summer has brought with it a lifting of restrictions and in doing so, has provided the gallery an opportunity to once again highlight these important works.

Also on display as part of the Gallery’s summer exhibition are new works by Raymond Martin, Joseph Plaskett and Paul Miller.

This exhibition, Treasures II, will officially open on July 17. Guests are invited to mingle outside the gallery from 4-7 p.m. and tour the work in limited numbers. Facemasks are required indoors.
