A Shivering Songs Playlist

Having trouble deciding what shows to see at Shivering Songs 2018? There’s a playlist for that!

Matt Carter

Festival lineups can sometimes be a little intimidating. While it’s always nice to see a few familiar names on the list, there will no doubt be many you’ve never heard of or listened to. And that’s usually the sign of a good festival. It’s all about variety and maybe a little risk. Something new, something old, something familiar and something totally out of left field. Now that’s what I call programming!

Our friends at Shivering Songs usually cover the gamut quite nicely. Whether you’re look forward to sitting silently in the beautiful surroundings of Wilmot United Church enjoying a performance in one of Fredericton’s best listening venues or prefer the lively atmosphere of a rock show at The Boyce Farmers Market or The Capital Complex, Shivering Songs has the sound and the atmosphere you’re looking for. Full Disclosure – we recommend seeing it all!

To help you get familiar with this year’s lineup, we made a playlist. A few choice cuts from the impressive list of artists announced so far. Who would have thought you’d ever hear Motherhood and David Myles on the same playlist?
