More news from Shivering Songs! This week festival organizers have announced a slew of locals artists who will be taking to stages across the downtown district during the 9th annual event set to take place January 22-27, 2019.

“Given the overwhelming support we’ve received from our community, it’s so important for us to highlight local talent at Shivering Songs,” said Festival co-organizer, Zach Atkinson. “We couldn’t be happier with the schedule we’ve assembled.”

A total of 13 additional artists were announced today including Keith Hallett, Mike Trask, the Montgomery Street Band, Kylie Fox, Colin Fowlie, Janowskii, Evan LeBlanc, Bleum and 2018 FestForward finalist Catherine Kennedy. Fredericton’s own genre-defying, fringe theatre, “what the hell did I just see” act Young Satan In Love will also perform as part of the festival.

Halifax/Montreal ensemble Mauno, Toronto pop artist For Esme and Newfoundland songwriter Matthew Byrne round out the acts announced this week.

Weekend passes and individual tickets to the January 25 double bill with Jeremy Dutcher and Bedouine are now officially sold out.

Select individual show tickets are on sale now at www.shiveringsongs.com.
