The 6th annual Summer’s End Folk Festival is just around the corner and features many musicians familiar to Fredericton audiences including Mike Trask and the Precious Memories, Garrett Mason and former Lunar Rogue resident performers, Petunia and the Loons.

“We are excited in equal parts for all the amazing acts slotted to play,” said Owen Steel, one of the festival’s organizers.  “Stylistically, everyone together runs the whole gamut, so there is a great selection to look forward to. I suppose a few notable happenings are Petunia’s reunion with The Loons, Museum Pieces celebrating 10 years of their wonderful album Philadelphia, although, Tyler will now likely be performing solo opposed to with a band, and the superb songwriter Devon Sproule making her way up from Virginia! This years fest started with a confirmation from Sproule and Bernice, so we’re really excited to actually get them on the island!”

Tucked away just meters from Grand Manan’s rocky coast line, the SEFF is a festival founded on creativity, the arts and bringing music into the community of Grand Manan.

The event takes place this weekend, August 21-22, 2015 and is without a doubt, one of the nicest ways to wrap up your summer travels.

Check the festival website for a complete list of performers, directions and event information.
